Things to Do

Lisdonagh Estate is a great location for families and groups who love the outdoors. There is a wealth of outdoor activities in the area. We suggest fly-fishing, falconry and archery at Ashford Castle Estate just 20 minutes from Lisdonagh Manor House as well as other providers detailed below. The impressive estate surrounding Lisdonagh Manor is home to a large private lake (Lough Hackett) with an abundance of wildlife and acres of fields to explore. The grounds are home to badgers, squirrels and rabbits, as well as foxes and owls. The private lands surrounding Lisdonagh House offer peace and tranquillity to those looking for some time out.  Take a stroll through the woodland and fields of the estate. Relax with a book in the living room or if renting the Manor House on an exclusive basis, enjoy an Irish brown bread cookery demonstration and nibble your results for lunch!
