Fishing
There is a wealth of angling in Galway and the areas surrounding Lisdonagh Estate. The Corrib system is one of the few natural brown trout fisheries remaining in Europe. Nearby Lough Corrib, Lough Mask and Lough Carra offer some of the finest trout fishing in the West of Ireland. The season runs from February to September with the best conditions usually between May and September.
A local Angling operator is Corrib Anglers who are based just 7 miles from Lisdonagh or 4 miles west of Headford in picturesque Annaghkeen bay. Their guides are Failte Ireland approved and have a long history of fishing the Corrib system. Their expertise and knowledge will enhance every opportunity to land the finest wild brown trout. Corrib Anglers can collect you from Lisdonagh Estate and they provide the Boat, engines and rod hire. www.corribanglers.com

Frank is now internationally recognised and is an Orvis endorsed guide. He can cater for fly fishing lessons on an individual basis or for fishing groups of up to 15 people. These can be either half-day or full-day tours and Frank provides fishing trips on Lough Corrib, Lough Mask and Lough Carra, as well as the surrounding rivers.
